The City of Belmont has a long-standing sister city relationship with Adachi, Japan. To celebrate this unique relationship, the City is releasing a bilingual children’s book “The Adventures of a Belmonster in Adachi-Ku” . As part of this celebration, the City is seeking the creation of a talking heads/vox pop style video, featuring brief interviews with staff and dignitaries, and teachers and students who attend the launch event, cut with footage from the launch event. The launch event is a live reading of the book by the book’s Illustrator to local school children at the Ruth Faulkner Library.
